Caribbean Youth Mental Health Champions Project

COVID-19 affected us all. In 2022, as the Caribbean region began to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, Caribbean children told their stories through art. Evidence shows art helps children better cope and manage their mental health challenges. The Youth Art in times of COVID-19 project is a part of CANPA's Caribbean Youth Mental Health Champions project which was funded by the Clara Lionel Foundation. Children across the Caribbean submitted their artwork. Their pieces, their wholes, strengths, fears and hopes are showcased in our online gallery.
